In June, I published my first blog post on a website that is not Emily in the Ottoman Ecumene!
Kosovo 2.0 published my piece “Let’s light up the Balkans” on the songs “Hajde Luj Qyqek” and “Hajde,” which details one example of how music travels across borders today. (Many thanks to my friend and collaborator Danny, who is also senior editor of said online magazine.) They gave it a super cool illustration, as well.
